Our Vision

The vision for BETH EL @ FEDERAL HILL is to lay the foundation for lifelong Jewish engagement for children 2 through 5 years of age. Supporting the development and enhancement of Jewish identity in our children and their families is achieved through Jewish knowledge and Jewish values. We welcome children of all religious denominations and backgrounds.

Early Childhood Curriculum

We are a child-centered program that incorporates Jewish values and celebration within the Creative Curriculum, approved by the Maryland State Department of Education.

  • Children learn through exploration in a play-based environment
  • Provide different educational experiences: cognitive, social, emotional, physical, language, literary, science, math, social issues and spiritual
  • Engage in nature/outdoor activities at Riverside and Federal Hill Parks
  • Encourage independence, problem solving, critical thinking skills and personal reflection

Our families live in nearby neighborhood communities. We encourage parent participation in our monthly family events and holiday programs. We especially encourage parents to observe and interact with our students during the regular school week.
